On Valencia Street in the heart of the Mission, you can find just about any type of furniture. From vintage, modern, artisan, and thrift store loot, to super affordable and practically unreachable—it’s easy to get lost in the world of furniture hunting.

Enter Aldea Home: Born in the Mission, this eco-conscious home furnishing and accessories store offers a tasteful collection of affordable furniture.

Johanna Bialkin, proprietor of Aldea has had a long love affair with the Mission. After outgrowing their previous location on 17th Street, she searched for a bigger spot in the same neighborhood because she had such an affinity for the people and the neighborhood. Lucky for us design fanatics they found a gorgeous location on Valencia to showcase more of what Aldea is known for and with the new 5000+ square feet showroom, we can savor the joys of home furniture shopping from a true local.
