BRUNCH
BRENDA'S FRENCH SOUL FOOD
(website)

It comes as no surprise that Brenda's French Soul Food won our survey, as it happens to be a staff favorite! Nothing cures a wicked hangover from a late Saturday of debauchery like a healthy helping of southern food. Order Brenda's Beignets sampler with a cup of gumbo or their delicious fried chicken with a water melon iced tea.

STREET FOOD
HAPA RAMEN

Street food in
San Francisco is as common as a political protest. From bacon wrapped hotdogs to bike basket pies, you'd find something to nosh for your third-meal hunger. Our winner, Hapa Ramen is lunch at its best. With their delicious broth, fresh ramen noodles, and organic ingredients in a bowl, you'll find it unnecessary to opt for fatty, greasy street meals. Try Hapa Ramen at the Ferry Building's Farmers Market and cozy up to a nice hot bowl of noodles made with love.

DINNER

B STAR CAFE
(website)

B-STAR, an incredibly popular Burmese/Asian fusion restaurant in the Richmond District. B-Star is the pretty sister of their flagship restaurant Burma Superstar just down the street, offering a refined version of their Asian-fusion inspired menu. The flavors are bold, aromatic, and utterly satisfying. If you haven't ventured out to try B-STAR, we highly recommend it.
