You may not be a kid anymore, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a good old fashioned party! Have we got an amazing party for you!

This Tuesday, April 3, you’re invited to the ultimate synchronized worldwide celebration brought to you by art & culture blog, BIG THINGS, the party experts at The Adventure School, Sydney-based crafter extraordinaire, Kitiya Palaskas, and San Francisco’s local Asterisk San Francisco Magazine.

Join us on Tuesday, April 3rd from 6-10pm at Asterisk headquarters for fun, food, friends, drinks, dancing, games & crafts.

Show off your favorite party outfit and your best party tricks; get crafty with DIY party decor and World Party Day button decorating; break records in our how-low-can-you-go? limbo contest; & enjoy treats from neighborhood favorites, including Mission Minis & more!

All night long Party Games with fun prizes! Pin the tail on the donkey, hula-hoop championships and Best in Party Attire competition.

World Party Day is all about a few simple ideas that we support 100%: peace, connected local and global communities, and the human right to fun and celebration.

World Party Day is brought to you by:

BIG THINGS is an art & culture blog, online shop, and series of events curated by Rebecca Goldschmidt that supports and connects artists and arts communities around the world. BIG THINGS has had lots of fun with pop-up events, workshops & projects in The Bay Area, Portland, Chicago, Brooklyn, Berlin, Vienna, Istanbul & beyond.
The Adventure School designs events and immersive environments for adventurous partiers. Aviva Palmer recently relocated to San Francisco after many years as a successful party-planner in Seattle, which included being named the Best Event Planners in Seattle by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.

Kitiya Palaskas is a craft-based designer and artist based in Sydney, Australia. She works in the craft department at Better Homes and Gardens and moonlights as a creative workshop tutor, Etsy team captain, and maker of anything tactile and fun. You can often find her behind a sewing machine, buried under piles of textas, stickers and paper scraps, and/or frantically bedazzling anything in sight.
